Creating a holistic legacy plan is more than just a financial or legal exercise. It’s an opportunity to reflect on the values, beliefs, and life lessons that have shaped you, and to think about how you want to pass those things on to future generations. But there’s one key ingredient that is often overlooked in this process: the heart.

When it comes to designing a holistic legacy plan, one of the most critical aspects to consider is your emotional intelligence and soft skills. Emotional intelligence and soft skills are becoming increasingly important in our personal and professional lives, and they can also play a significant role in creating a legacy that goes beyond material possessions.

Divorce can be a difficult and challenging time, but it can also be an opportunity for growth and transformation. As a co-active coach, I have worked with divorced individuals who have used their time to design a meaningful and wholesome legacy for themselves.

Holistic legacy planning involves more than just deciding how you want to distribute your wealth and assets after you die. It also involves preparing the next generation to manage and grow that wealth in a way that aligns with your values and vision for the future. This process is known as inter-generational wealth transfer, and it can be a crucial component of a successful holistic legacy plan.

In recent years, there has been a significant rise in the number of women entrepreneurs who are seeking to create a holistic legacy for themselves and their families.

When we think of legacy planning, we often focus on the tangible assets we want to leave behind, such as money, property, and material assets. However, more and more people are realizing the importance of including emotional healing as a crucial aspect of their holistic legacy plan. The more healed we are, the more we can give of ourselves compared to coming at our legacy from a feeling of soul fragmentation.

As more and more people become aware of the impact of their investments on the environment, the future of society, and the next generations, sustainable and ethical investing has become an increasingly popular topic in the forefront today.
