Service Description

This 90 minute coaching and consulting session is designed to understand where you are at, how you think and feel about the subject of your legacy, what's motivating you and where you need support. This initial Discovery Session can include any or all of the following: 1. Clarifying your core and aspirational values: What are you honoring now with your time and resources and what would you like to be honoring if you really stepped up in your potential? 2. Defining your Legacy Goals: What is it you truly want? What is actually written down vs. ideas in the back of your mind? We all know that those with clarity and those whom invest in themselves (their personal development) supersede those who don't take the time and this head start results in real momentum. What do you have written down as your 'one' guiding principle and is this still true today? Is this principle then written into a one-page Impact Statement to share with others on your cell phone or when you meet new people of similar values? 3. Landscape: Is it just you or are you interested in designing a shared legacy with your family in common values, purpose and pre-designed experiences? Planning for family conversations and working throug hurdles can inform decisions around inheritance, philanthropy, and many other pink elephants in the room. 4. Figuring It All Out: Individuals can shy away from asking an attorney or CPA directly in the basics of what is relevant in what they need; while a coach cannot give legal advice, a legacy is more than forms. It's also the 'soft skills' needed to see blind spots in proactive planning of the unexpected - the hidden - needs, wants and desires. 5. Feedback: Did you make the best decisions based on what you knew or could you benefit from a 'debrief', 'locker room conversation', in the confidentiality of a trusted coach in your corner to see other perspectives and the big picture. A council of advisors, including your coach, can the difference between forward movement and stagnation. 6. Accountability: Where do you fall short week after week? Is it communication, in making the time, or is it being willing to take an inventory of what you measure in how you met your values each day? Your values matter. Legacy planning(c) involves new conversations with yourself as well as those around you in all capacities, to make manifest your legacy vision. What would be most meaningful and impactful for you and your legacy? Book your consultation now.
